App Store link builder

Paste your app's ID or link and get every link you tend to need: the product page, a campaign link for App Analytics, a custom product page link, a link that opens the review form, an offer code link and the Smart App Banner tag. The campaign token is checked against Apple's rules as you type. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Rules are from Apple's campaign link, custom product page and offer code pages, read on 2026-10-31. Each message links to the page behind it.

Paste the numeric ID (123456789) or a link from the App Store. A pasted link also fills in country, name and any campaign values.

Identifies your developer account and stays the same for every campaign. App Store Connect creates it the first time you make a campaign link under App Analytics.

Up to 30 characters. Use a new one for each campaign.

The ID at the end of a custom product page's URL in App Store Connect.

Enter an app ID or paste an App Store link to get your links.

How it works

  • •The links are built in your browser from the values you type. A link you paste in is taken apart first, so its country, name and campaign values fill the form.
  • •Campaign links follow Apple's example: the product page address, then pt (your provider token), ct (the campaign) and mt=8. The campaign token is held to Apple's current rule: up to 30 letters, numbers, spaces and listed punctuation, with no space first or last. Spaces and symbols are encoded for you.
  • •Custom product page links add ppid to the same address. Review and offer code links follow the forms developers report in the Apple Developer Forums, and the page says so next to each one.
  • •Every message links to the Apple page behind it, read on the date shown at the top.

What it does not do

  • •It cannot create a provider token. Apple only gives you one when you make your first campaign link in App Store Connect.
  • •It does not check that the app, custom product page or offer code exists, or that a custom product page has been approved.
  • •The write-a-review and offer code link forms are not described on an Apple page. Test them before you print or send them.
  • •The Smart App Banner tag is generated from the documented tag form. Check the result in Safari on an iPhone or iPad.

Questions

How long can a campaign token (ct) be?
Apple's campaign links page says up to 30 characters: letters, numbers, spaces and a list of punctuation marks, with no space first or last. Older guides say 40, which was the rule for the old iTunes Connect analytics.
Where do I get the provider token (pt)?
In App Store Connect, open App Analytics, then Campaigns, and create a campaign link. The link it gives you contains your pt. It identifies your developer account and stays the same for every campaign, so reuse it and change only ct.
Can I add a campaign to a custom product page link?
Apple describes the two separately. In practice the link takes both, and this page builds it that way. Check in App Analytics that visits land in the campaign you expect.
Why does the review link say I must own the app?
The review form on the product page is only open to people who have downloaded the app. Opening the link on a device that does not have it shows that message.
What does the Smart App Banner do?
On an iPhone or iPad, Safari shows a banner at the top of your page with an Open or View button for your app. You add it with one meta tag in the page's head.
