Merge PDF files into one
Add your PDFs, put them in the order you want, and download a single file. The merge happens in your own browser, so contracts, invoices and scans never leave your device. Pages are copied exactly as they are.
Drop PDFs here
PDF files, plus JPG, PNG or WebP pictures if you like. Each picture becomes one page. Nothing is uploaded: your files are opened and saved inside this page.
How to merge
- •Drop two or more PDFs (you can add JPG, PNG or WebP pictures too; each becomes one page).
- •Drag files by the handle or use the arrows to set the order. Remove anything you added by mistake.
- •Type a name for the result and press Merge. Download the finished PDF.
- •Each file shows its page count, so you can check the total before you merge.
What this tool does
- •Up to 50 files and about 200 MB in total per job.
- •Joins whole PDFs in the order shown. Page sizes and rotation are kept per page.
- •Pages are copied as they are: no re-compression, so quality does not drop.
- •A progress bar shows the job; the page stays usable while large files are processed.
What we can't do
- •It does not edit the text or pictures inside a page. It only moves whole pages around.
- •It does not read scanned pages (no OCR), so scans stay as pictures.
- •It cannot open password-protected PDFs. Unlock the file in a PDF viewer first; this tool never tries to break a password.
- •It shows no page thumbnails, because no page renderer is built in. Pages are identified by number, paper size and direction.
- •Forms, bookmarks and links that point to other pages are not guaranteed to survive. The page content itself does.
Questions
- Is my file uploaded anywhere?
- No. The PDFs are read and joined inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, and once the page has loaded it keeps working with your connection off.
- Will merging reduce quality?
- No. Pages are copied into the new file as they are, without re-rendering or re-compressing, so text stays sharp and pictures keep their quality. Pictures you add are placed on an A4 page at their original quality.
- Why does my merged file have a different size than the files added together?
- Each PDF carries its own copy of shared items such as fonts. Merging can pack them a little differently, so the total is usually close but rarely identical.
- Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
- Not directly. This tool cannot open locked PDFs and does not try to get around the password. Open the file in a PDF viewer with the password, save a copy without one, and add that copy.
- What happens to bookmarks and form fields?
- The page content is kept. Bookmarks, outlines and links between pages are not carried across into the merged file, and forms may lose their fields.
- How big can the files be?
- Around 200 MB in total works in a modern browser on a normal computer. Phones have less memory, so very large jobs are better done on a computer.
