About
Stop wondering who took that photo, where, and with what gear. Peekmeta reads every hidden detail out of a photo's metadata — GPS coordinates, camera and lens, exposure settings, timestamps, copyright tags — and lays it out on one screen.
Unlike apps that bury the data behind menus, Peekmeta shows all of it at once, grouped and ready to copy. Your photos are read on the device and are never uploaded, and Peekmeta never asks you to create an account.
WHAT MAKES PEEKMETA DIFFERENT
- One screen, everything on it
Camera, Image, Location, Time, File and IPTC groups, each one expandable, with a copy button beside every value. - The camera settings in full
Make and model, lens, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focal length and its 35mm equivalent, exposure program, flash and white balance. - Location you can actually place
Latitude and longitude in decimal and in degrees-minutes-seconds, plus altitude, speed and heading, and a map preview pinning the spot. - A record of what you looked at
Recently inspected photos stay in a list on the device, and you can swipe any of them away. - Take the whole record with you (Pro)
Export every field as plain text, JSON or CSV and send it wherever you need it. - Share without the coordinates (Pro)
Peekmeta builds a copy of the photo with the GPS block removed and hands that to the share sheet — your original file is never modified.
WHO IS PEEKMETA FOR?
- Photographers checking what settings actually produced a shot
- Anyone about to post or send a photo who wants to know what it gives away
- People cataloguing images who need the fields in a spreadsheet
- Privacy-minded people who would rather a metadata reader never had an account
PRICING
Included: reading and browsing the complete metadata record for any photo you pick, the map preview, copying individual values, and the on-device list of recent inspections. Peekmeta Pro is a one-time in-app purchase — no subscription — and adds exporting the record as plain text, JSON or CSV, and sharing a location-stripped copy of the photo.
