About
Facetile finds the face in your photo and crops it perfectly for every social profile you use — no more guessing where GitHub's square avatar meets Discord's circular one. Drop in a headshot, and Facetile detects the face, frames it correctly for each platform's exact pixel size, and exports every crop in one pass.
Built for anyone who updates a profile picture across X, Discord, LinkedIn, GitHub, Slack, Instagram, and YouTube and is tired of manually re-cropping the same photo seven different ways.
WHAT FACETILE DOES
- Face-aware cropping — Vision-based face detection centers the crop on the actual face, not just the image center
- Seven platform presets — each at its real pixel size, with extra headroom on platforms that mask the avatar into a circle
- Live preview grid — see every platform's crop side-by-side before exporting anything
- Drag to adjust — nudge the crop center by hand when automatic framing isn't quite right
- Batch mode — drop a whole folder of photos and export every one to every selected platform in a single pass
- Export history — jump back to any past export folder from the built-in history list
- Adjustable framing — a Settings slider tightens or loosens the crop headroom to match your own style
Facetile runs entirely on your Mac. Photos never leave your device, there's no account, and no network connection is required.
