About
Hashreel finds near-duplicate videos in any folder — the re-encodes, trims, and resolution swaps that pile up from phone backups, editing exports, and cloud syncs — and helps you keep only the copy you want.
Drop a folder onto Hashreel and it fingerprints every clip on-device using perceptual matching, not just file names or checksums, so it catches copies that look identical but were saved at a different resolution or bitrate. Duplicate groups appear as a collapsible list; click one to compare every copy side by side with file size, duration, resolution, and codec badges, checkmark the copy to keep, and batch-move the rest to the Trash.
Built for people who process a lot of groups at once: space toggles keep on the focused copy, arrow keys move between copies, and Delete clears a whole group in one action. Recent Scans keeps a history of folders you've cleaned so you can recheck them later, and Pro (requires in-app purchase) adds unlimited scan size, one-tap Delete All Duplicates across every group, a CSV cleanup report, and Strict/Loose matching modes for trickier libraries.
Everything runs locally: no account, no uploads, no analytics. Your videos never leave your Mac.
