NetCalc Pro works out a network's addressing plan, generates the commands to configure routers and switches, and checks that everything adds up before you power on the lab. It is built for networking students, at school, at university or preparing for a certification, and it works just as well for anyone who deals with IP addresses: technicians and sysadmins planning an install, teachers checking an exercise, hobbyists tidying up their home network. Explanations are there when you need them and stay out of the way when you don't. CALCULATE • IPv4 calculator with four ways to enter an address, and an IPv6 calculator with compression, prefixes, subnetting, and EUI-64. • Equal-size subnetting and VLSM, with networks sorted largest first. • Color-coded binary view that separates network and host bits, and a map of the used address space. CONFIGURE • Cisco IOS-style commands for interfaces, static routes, OSPF, RIPv2, EIGRP, VLANs and 802.1Q trunks, DHCP, standard and extended ACLs, NAT/PAT, and basic hardening. • Import an existing running-config and find it in your project.
