About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Find a paper, read it comfortably, and keep the questions it raises in one place. OnlyIdeas brings paper search, a research assistant, translations and discussion into your reading library. FIND AND OPEN RESEARCH Search by title, DOI, author or topic. OnlyIdeas checks papers already in the library before looking online. Open an existing public transcript immediately, or request an accessible full-text source. If an automatic download fails, attach your own authorized PDF to the paper. READ WITHOUT PINCHING EVERY LINE Turn supported PDFs and accessible article pages into flowing text with equations, figures and tables. Import PDF, image, Word, Markdown or text files. Adjust text size and appearance, keep your place, and save processed papers for offline reading. Conversion quality depends on the source; the original link stays available for checking. KEEP LANGUAGES TOGETHER Request a translation of a paper or a smaller passage. Read the original, the translation, or both interlaced. Existing compatible public transcripts and translations are reused. AI translations and reading guides are labeled and may contain errors. CONTINUE THE CONVERSATION Ask the research assistant to find a paper, add it to your library or explain a passage. Return to saved conversations, attach files, and follow the progress of imports. Private files and chats stay in your account. BUILD YOUR READING SPACE Save and like papers, browse your activity, and set research interests. Discuss a paper or a selected passage. Shared papers are available to other readers; personal notes and conversations are private. CHOOSE WHAT TO SHARE Choose Shared or Only me when adding material. To publish immediately, confirm that you have permission and select a suitable license; administrator review follows publication. Unconfirmed sharing requests wait for review. Permissions are remembered for the same material and account, and retries keep the original choice. Public content can be reported and readers can be blocked. Share only material you have the right to publish, including its figures. ACCOUNT AND USAGE Browse public papers without signing in. Sign in to import, use the assistant and join discussions. Profile provides account controls and deletion. Processing and AI requests have limits; the app shows available allowances and any required credit confirmation before an import. Existing papers and cached translations remain free to read. OnlyIdeas credits belong to this app, are non-transferable and have no cash value. OnlyIdeas is made by LazyingArt LLC.
