About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Know a few guitar chords, but lose your place when the song starts? Musia connects listening, sung phrases and chord changes in a native Mac practice workspace. HEAR ONE SMALL STEP Play Do, Re and Mi reference tones, then try a listening quiz. Expand to a full octave when ready. The score counts your first answer, not your singing or guitar performance. These sounds work offline. FIND A STEADY PULSE First Pulse is a built-in synthesized 60 BPM reference with Em/Am changes. The separate metronome offers 40-160 BPM, an accented first beat and optional Em/Am changes every four beats. Start with one comfortable down-strum on beat one. ONE PHRASE AT A TIME Slow song playback from 0.25x to 2x while preserving pitch. Loop a lyric phrase or set A/B markers. See current/next chords, guitar finger positions, reference melody notes and the beat pulse. Keyboard playback controls keep you near your instrument. FOLLOW WORDS AND MUSIC Show English, Chinese and Japanese lyric tracks together, with pinyin and furigana where supplied. Translations belong to the selected vocal recording. Catalog streaming needs internet. Keep listening while the window is minimized. KEEP PRACTICE LOCAL Sessions and preferences stay on your Mac. Find Practice history under Settings and export or clear it when you choose. No account, microphone recording, advertising or subscription is required. Automatically analyzed chords, beats and melody are estimates, not a verified score. Tap feedback includes device/audio latency; it does not grade instruments. Musia focuses on listening and practice, not in-app AI generation or user-upload analysis.
