AN EXTENSIVE LIBRARY OF QUOTATIONS A hundred thousand quotations, more than ten thousand people, a thousand subjects, from antiquity to this decade. The source sits under the quote: the letter, the book and chapter, the speech, the act and scene, when one exists. Dates are never guessed — if a year falls outside the speaker's life, it isn't shown. A QUOTATION FOR TODAY Open it and there is one quotation, set as large as the screen will allow, the way a book would set it. Today and Another draw from a smaller, cited set, so the first screen is something you would actually want to read. Nothing is deleted; browse and search still see all of it. MADE FOR READING The words carry it: a serif at the largest size that fits, and five palettes to read it in. A long quotation steps down a size rather than being cut off. The bookmark keeps what you like. Share any quotation as formatted text, citation already in place. WHO SAID IT, AND HOW YOU KNOW Tap the name and you get a paragraph on who they were, their dates, and what they were known for. That paragraph is in the app, and it works with the network off.
