About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Open dozens of archive formats as real file trees before extracting anything. Create ZIP, TAR, and compressed tarballs, convert between formats, verify integrity, and protect new ZIP files with AES-256 encryption. INSPECT AN ARCHIVE BEFORE EXTRACTING IT Drop an archive, or pick one, and browse its contents as a real file tree, folders and all, before extracting anything. Dozens of formats are decoded locally, including ZIP, TAR, 7z, XZ, Zstandard, LZ4, Cabinet, CPIO, and Unix AR. A built-in guide lists every supported format by family. CREATE AND COMPRESS Create ZIP, TAR, Unix AR, CPIO, and Cabinet archives, or tarballs compressed with Gzip, Bzip2, XZ, Zstandard, or LZ4. Choose for the trade-off you want: smallest with XZ, fastest with LZ4, most compatible with ZIP. Recompress an existing archive into a different format in one step. HIGHLIGHTS See before you extract: the whole tree, with each entry's size, compression ratio bar, and CRC-32 checksum, plus the largest files and a breakdown by type. Take just what you need: pull out everything, a selection, or a single file, or verify an archive's integrity in place without extracting at all. Passwords just work: type the password once to open a protected archive, and lock new ZIPs with AES-256. ONE PURCHASE, EVERY DEVICE One purchase covers Mac, iPhone, and iPad. No account, no subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. No cloud required.
