About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Your Mac should stay awake when your work cannot pause. Racophorus is a refined menu bar utility that gives you precise control over when and how your Mac stays awake. Whether you are presenting, downloading, rendering, coding, transferring files, or running a task that needs more time, Racophorus helps everything continue exactly as planned. Named after the remarkable flying tree frogs of the genus Rhacophorus, the app combines a distinctive identity with focused design, effortless control, and deep respect for your privacy. PRECISE AWAKE CONTROL Choose System mode when tasks should continue while the display may rest. Choose Display and System mode when both your screen and your Mac need to remain awake. Set a quick timer, create a custom duration from one minute to seven days, choose an exact end time, or keep your Mac awake until you decide otherwise. ALWAYS WITHIN REACH Racophorus lives discreetly in your menu bar and gives you immediate access whenever you need it. Start or stop a session with the main panel, use your configurable global shortcut, or run native App Shortcuts for Keep Awake, Allow Sleep, and Check Status. Timely local reminders keep you informed while you stay focused on your work. DESIGNED AROUND YOU Choose from six expressive themes, configure your preferred awake mode, enable Launch at Login, adjust battery warnings, and control optional interaction sounds. Every setting is designed to be clear, responsive, and easy to understand. PRIVACY BY DESIGN Racophorus uses built in macOS power controls. It does not monitor your activity, inspect your files, or track how you use your Mac. There are no accounts, ads, analytics, tracking, or telemetry. Racophorus does not collect or transmit personal data. Your preferences remain on your device. SIMPLE WHEN YOU WANT IT. PRECISE WHEN YOU NEED IT. Set the time. Choose the mode. Stay in flow.
