About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Have you ever played Senet like an Egyptian pharaoh? Solved a Stomachion like Archimedes? Decoded a message using the method that helped end World War II? Math VS Time is a journey through 5,000 years of real puzzles. Authentic games lost to time — the ones that kept pharaohs, samurai, and spies awake at night — rebuilt and made playable on iPhone, from the Jiǔ Lián Huán to the Latin Square. A scientist from the future, Chronos, is erasing mathematics from history: he burns the Library of Alexandria, corrupts the Nine Chapters, scatters Euler's notebooks. You are the last one who can stop him. 750 PUZZLES AWAIT YOU - Astragaloi in the Greek Agora - Magic squares from ancient China - Indian Kolam to trace without ever lifting your finger - Japanese Sangaku from the temples - Shatranj, the ancestor of chess - Historical ciphers: Playfair, Lorenz, Enigma - And much more Every game has been researched and reconstructed, striving to stay as faithful as possible without sacrificing the gameplay experience. Many have never existed in digital form before. GAME MODES - Scholar → relaxed, with hints and historical context - Master (coming soon) → one life only, limited time GLOBAL MULTIPLAYER Challenge friends and players online, tackle logic and mental math challenges, and climb the world leaderboard. Available in 5 languages: English, Italian, French, German, and Spanish. (And yes, there's also a hidden easter egg.) No ads. No tracking. Just you, Chronos, and 5,000 years of challenges.
