CroImage is a small, fast image tool for people who just want smaller files. Drop images onto the window and they are processed right away with the options you have set. Results are saved to a folder you pick the first time you open the app, and you can change it at any time. COMPRESS • Shrink JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC files, often by 70 to 95 percent • Small, Balanced, and Best presets, or a quality slider from 10 to 100 percent • PNG is shrunk with smart palette quantization that keeps images looking the same • Files are never made bigger: if a setting would not reduce the size, the original is kept CONVERT • Turn HEIC photos from iPhone into JPG, PNG, or WebP • Convert between JPG, PNG, and WebP in either direction • PNG and WebP output keeps transparency RESIZE • Scale by percentage, or fit to an exact width or height • Presets for 1920, 1280, and 800 px wide and 1080, 720, and 480 px tall • Crop to a fixed size such as 800 × 600 WATERMARK • Stamp your own text on every image: a name, a © line, or a word like "Draft" • Set the color, opacity, size, and rotation, then place it in one of nine spots or tile it across the whole image • A live preview redraws as you adjust, so you see the result before anything is saved • The size follows each image's width, so one setting looks the same on small and large photos WORKFLOWS • Chain compress, convert, resize, and watermark steps into a named workflow and run it with one drop • Every workflow ends in a Save step: write to your save folder, or give a step a folder of its own • Add several Save steps to keep a copy at any point in the chain, for example full-size JPG and a 1920 px WebP • Fold steps down to a one-line summary, reorder and edit them, and keep as many workflows as you have jobs FILE NAMES • Name saved files with a pattern: your own text plus the original name, the operation, a counter, the date, or the time • Out of the box, photo.jpg is saved as photo-compressed.jpg; a workflow's Save step can use a pattern of its own BATCH • Drop a whole folder: up to 500 images per batch • Live progress, per-file before and after sizes, and the percentage saved • Stop a batch at any time; images it didn't reach are marked as not processed • Double-click any result to show it in Finder PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Runs entirely on your Mac and works offline • No account, no server, and no network access • Sandboxed: CroImage only reads the images you give it and only writes to folders you pick MADE FOR MAC • Light and dark appearance, or follow the system • Keyboard shortcuts: ⌘O to choose images, ⌘↩ to run, ⌘. to stop, ⌘1–⌘5 to switch tabs, ⇧⌘O to open the save folder • Available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese Supported input: JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, HEIF.
