PhotoBridge Privacy Notice Last updated: May 2026
1. Scope This notice explains how PhotoBridge processes information when you use the app.
2. Data We Process PhotoBridge is a fully local app. Photos are transferred bidirectionally between your device and your chosen storage destination (WebDAV server, S3 bucket, or external drive) — uploaded for backup, downloaded for restore. When you browse or delete remote files, requests go directly to your storage destination. No data passes through our servers. No accounts with us are required.
3. Why We Process Data We process data solely to facilitate photo backup, restore, and remote file management between your device and your storage.
4. Sharing We do not collect, sell, or share any personal information. PhotoBridge contains no analytics, ads, or tracking SDKs.
5. Storage Credentials Server credentials (WebDAV/S3) are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and never transmitted to us.
6. In-App Purchases PhotoBridge offers optional Pro subscriptions (monthly, annual) and a lifetime purchase. Payment is processed by Apple. We do not collect or store payment information.
7. Security All processing occurs within the iOS App Sandbox. Credentials are protected by iOS Keychain.
8. End-to-End Encryption If you enable End-to-End Encryption, the encryption key is generated and stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your key and cannot recover encrypted files if the key is lost.
