The Lighthouse of Shiomi — a time-loop mystery on a remote island. Saku Hayama returns to Shiomi Island for his grandmother's funeral, just as the island's once-every-three-years lantern festival begins. For seven days, families float paper lanterns out to sea to guide the souls of the dead. On the seventh night, the hundred-year-old lighthouse is lit. And on the seventh night, the lighthouse burns. Saku dies in the fire — and wakes up on the ferry deck on the morning he arrived. The islanders remember nothing. Only Akari, the shrine maiden who greets him at the pier, remembers every loop.
