AdGone - Ad Blocker — App Store rankings

About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

AdGone takes the ads and trackers out of Safari on iPhone and iPad. Turn on one switch and Safari stops loading banner ads, pop-ups and the trackers that follow you from site to site. Pages get cleaner and load faster, and you use less data. ONE SWITCH • A single switch on the home screen turns protection on or off. • A built-in walkthrough shows exactly how to enable AdGone in Safari, with a button that takes you straight to the right place in Settings. • The home screen always tells you honestly whether Safari is protected. FOUR PROTECTION LEVELS • Standard: ads and trackers. • Enhanced: adds cookie banners and a second ad-blocking list. • Strict: adds newsletter pop-ups, social widgets and other annoyances. • Lockdown: everything, plus third-party cookies. Pick a level and AdGone takes care of the filter lists behind it. Lists update themselves. MADE FOR HOW YOU BROWSE • Extra blocking for sites in 14 languages, matched to your device automatically. • Adult-site blocking, free for everyone. • An allowlist for sites you want to leave alone. • Your own rules, and an element picker to hide anything on a page. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account and no sign-up. • AdGone has no servers of its own. Filter lists are downloaded straight from their publishers. • Blocking happens on your device, inside Safari. ADGONE+ (OPTIONAL SUBSCRIPTION) Everything above is free. AdGone+ adds: • Video ads protection: removes video ads in Safari. • Tracking protection: cleans tracking codes out of links and tells sites not to track you. • Security filters: blocks malware, phishing and scam sites. • DNS protection: blocks trackers in other apps and encrypts DNS lookups. • AdGone for Mac: blocks ads and trackers in every browser and app on your Mac. Download it free from adgone.360apps.cc; AdGone+ unlocks it on any Mac signed in to the same iCloud account. AdGone+ comes as a monthly or a yearly plan. Both include Family Sharing and AdGone for Mac. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings at any time. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ On iPhone and iPad, AdGone works in Safari. It does not block ads inside other apps or other browsers there, apart from the DNS protection included with AdGone+.
