Plan your quilt finish with Quilt Finish. Enter the measured size of your quilt top and usable fabric widths. Calculate fabric lengths and cuts for backing, straight-grain binding, and an optional square-corner border. BACKING AND BINDING Compare vertical and horizontal backing seams, including overhang and seam allowances. Allow fabric rotation only when your print permits it. For binding, see strip count, strip dimensions and usable length after diagonal joins. PLAN A BORDER Set finished border width, seam allowance and a separate fabric width. Side borders go on first. See assembled border pieces and the full-width strips needed to make them. The conservative estimate does not reuse offcuts. CUT AND CONTINUE Check off cuts, save projects, duplicate them and share a plain-text cut plan. Projects and checkmarks are saved locally on your device. Measurement changes reset checkmarks; switching between centimetres and inches preserves exact measurements. One purchase. Offline on iPhone and iPad.
