Blue Plate is a calm, fast tip calculator for the moment the check arrives. Type the amount, pick a tip, see the total. No ads, no account, no clutter. THE ANSWER BEFORE THE SERVER IS BACK - Register-style keypad: type 8 4 2 0 and it reads $84.20. No decimal point to find - Big, clear tip and total the moment you type - Remembers your usual tip - Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets open a new check in one tap - Ask Siri: "Tip with Blue Plate" - Apple Watch: turn the Digital Crown to pick the tip TIP ON THE SUBTOTAL, NOT THE TAX Enter the tax and Blue Plate works out the tip on the subtotal, the way many people prefer. It shows exactly how much that kept in your pocket. IS 20% RIGHT HERE? Card readers often start at 20, 25 or 30%. Check the Screen shows what those buttons mean in dollars and what's typical for where you are: a sit-down restaurant, a bar, a coffee counter, delivery, a ride, a salon and more. The Tip Guide covers hotel housekeeping, valet and movers too. SPLIT IT FAIRLY - Split evenly between any number of people - Or split by who had what: add items and tap who had each one - Shared plates are divided between the people who shared them - Tax and tip follow each person's share - Send the split to the group in a message ROUND IT YOUR WAY - Round the tip up to a whole dollar - Round the total up, or each person's share when you split - Mirror total: a total that reads the same both ways, like $48.84, easy to recognize on your statement PRIVATE BY DESIGN No sign-up, no tracking and no internet needed.
