El Niño Observatory connects macro climate watching with the daily actions of you and your family — a personal climate-adaptation toolbox for the El Niño era. TODAY · LOCAL CLIMATE PANEL Local weather plus soil temperature and moisture (data from Open-Meteo) — your city's climate state at a glance. PROTECT · HEAT GUARD Feels-like temperature and heat-stroke risk levels, the coolest windows for going out and exercise, hydration reminders (local notifications), and a dedicated hot-day protection mode. PREP · FAMILY EMERGENCY A fully offline disaster-prep module: emergency kit checklists customized per hazard (checkable, with expiry reminders), a family evacuation plan card (meeting points, emergency contacts, pet arrangements), and guides for handling water, power and gas outages. Works through typhoons, blackouts and network outages. FARM · PLANTING ASSISTANT Sowing and harvest window advice based on accumulated and soil temperature; drought, waterlogging and frost alerts. Great for home gardening and balcony vegetables.
