开发者在美国 App Store 的完整简介（英文原文）。
Stampscout identifies postage stamps from your photos — the country, the year, the denomination and what the stamp might be worth — and it is honest about how sure it is. THREE PHOTOS, NOT ONE GUESS The front. The back, where gum, hinge marks and the watermark separate issues that look identical. A close-up of the perforations or the cancel. Stampscout guides you through each one and explains why it matters. Already have the photos? Pick them from your library. A VALUE RANGE, WITH ITS REASONS Every identification comes with an estimated value range and the factors that move it: condition, centering, gum, cancel, perforations, variety and demand. Never a single number dressed up as an appraisal. Most stamps are common, and Stampscout says so plainly — which is what makes a high estimate worth believing. One tap shows recent sold prices on eBay, so you can check the range against real sales. THE VARIETIES THAT CHANGE EVERYTHING In stamps, the money is in the details: watermarks, perforation gauges, shades, errors and overprints. Stampscout lists the concrete checks to make yourself instead of pretending a photo can settle them. It never declares a stamp genuine, forged or regummed — you get the evidence to judge. When a stamp could be worth serious money, it says plainly that it needs an expert certificate before you buy or sell. WE SAY SO WHEN WE ARE NOT SURE Every match shows a confidence level. When one design was printed over many years, you see the likely issues side by side, what separates them, and which extra photo would settle it. TELL IT WHAT YOU KNOW Add a note — where the album came from, a watermark you saw against the light, a postmark date — and Stampscout weighs it alongside the photos. BUILT FOR INHERITED ALBUMS AND DEALER BOXES • Your finds are saved on your device • Location data is stripped from photos before they leave your phone • No account required to start HONEST LIMITS Stampscout gives AI estimates for guidance, not expert opinions. Values depend on condition, variety and the market on the day. Confirm with a stamp dealer or an expertizing service before buying or selling anything valuable. Pro unlocks unlimited identifications and your full history.
