ME: THE MOVIE turns a stretch of your life into a short film, made from the photos and videos already on your iPhone. Choose the last 30 days, this year, a custom range such as a trip, or pick the moments yourself. The app looks at what you chose — the frames, when and roughly where they were taken, and whether people are in them — and cuts about 30 seconds of your own footage into a film, with an on-device soundtrack. Before you watch, a storyboard shows every moment it picked. Swap, remove, pin or reorder any of them. Add your own words to a shot; they appear in the preview and exported film. For videos, choose a start point and clip length, and optionally keep the original sound. After the film come story cards and a short written look back at the stretch you chose, so the film, the cards and the words tell the same story. Everything happens on this iPhone. There is no account, no developer content server, no ads and no third-party analytics. Automatic selection skips originals that are unavailable on this device. Apple's system picker may download media you actively choose from iCloud. A film leaves the app only when you save it to Photos or share it. Free: your first film, story cards, the daily fragment and standard export. The full cut is a one-time, non-consumable purchase — not a subscription. It adds the Archive and Monochrome grades and a 60-second cut of the same stretch. It does not renew, and Restore Purchases brings it back on a new device with the same Apple Account.
