About this app
The developer's US App Store description, in full.
GeoQuiz turns world geography into a game you can finish in two minutes. Pick a region — the whole world or a single continent — then pick how you want to be tested: capitals, countries, flags, currencies, languages, continents or population. Ten questions, four options each. The wrong answers are chosen to be plausible rather than random, so a lucky guess is genuinely harder than knowing the answer. FIND IT ON THE MAP Tap the country you're asked for on a world map you can pinch and pan. Miss it and the camera travels from the country you pressed to the one you meant — slowly, so you can follow it — then rings the answer. Every country is shaded so that no two neighbours share a colour, which keeps borders readable at any zoom. COUNTRY OF THE DAY One country a day, the same for everyone, in seven rounds covering its flag, continent, capital, population, currency and language, finishing by asking you to find it on the map. Play on consecutive days to build a streak, and add the home screen widget to see today's country at a glance. VERSUS Two to four players, one device. Everyone answers their own questions so nobody can copy, with a hand-off card between turns and final standings that handle ties. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS Mastery for each region, built from your best run in every mode it offers — so breadth counts as much as accuracy. Plus letter grades, personal bests and your full history. BUILT TO BE PRIVATE No accounts. No analytics. No network code at all. The country database and the world map ship inside the app, so it works the same in Airplane Mode and nothing ever leaves your device. ALSO INSIDE • Ten themes, three of them dark • Auto-advance, or tap through at your own pace • An optional per-question timer • Sound and haptics, each with its own switch • Surprise Me — one button into a random region and mode • iPhone and iPad, portrait and landscape
