KinetFlashFind is an instant file search tool for Mac. It builds its own index of your entire disk — including hidden files and system folders that are invisible to normal searches — and shows results the moment you type. WHY KINETFLASHFIND • Instant results — matches appear as you type; no progress bar, no waiting for a scan • Sees the blind spots — dot-hidden files, deep system directories, every disk you have mounted • Smart search — multiple keywords separated by spaces (AND), filter files or folders, sort by name, size or date • Always up to date — file changes are picked up in real time; newly added folders are indexed automatically • Act on results instantly — double-click to open, reveal in Finder, or copy the full path PRIVACY FIRST • No account, no cloud, no analytics • The search index is a local database inside the app's sandbox container — it never leaves your Mac • Uninstalling the app removes all of its data ABOUT PERMISSIONS macOS protects folders such as Documents, Desktop and Downloads. To index those locations, the app asks you to grant Full Disk Access. Granting it is entirely optional — without it, you can still add folders to index manually. KinetFlashFind reads file names and metadata only (path, size, modification date); it never reads or records file contents. GOOD TO KNOW • The first launch builds a full-disk index once; afterwards only changed files are processed, keeping everyday impact minimal • Results are capped at 500 per search to stay instant — keep typing to narrow down • Need a specific folder right away? Use "Add Folder" and start searching it in seconds
