The same day goes differently depending on what you hold to. Today's Vow sets that footing as one line a day, and closes the day with that same line in the evening. ■ It starts with how you are Which mood, which one is closest, what it's about. Three questions narrow it down, then you get five lines that fit. Not a vague "it'll be fine," but words for resenting someone when you resent someone, and words for a pile of work when work has piled up. ■ Every line carries its reason "Recall one other side of them first" — Grab the bitter handle and it won't lift. What to keep today on top, why it holds underneath. Over three hundred come from the classics: Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Confucius, Laozi, the Dhammapada, the Caigentan. ■ You pick one of the five Because you chose it rather than received it, it comes back to you at the forks in your day. ■ The evening closes with a journal One tap does it. I kept it, Not sure, or I didn't. Write on the ruled page in a handwritten face if you have something to say, skip it if you don't, and the day still closes. The days you didn't keep it are answers too. ■ A calendar you can read at a glance The last two weeks fill in as you pick your line. Tap to open four. You can see which days you missed; the monthly report shows which moods came up most. ■ Widgets See today's line on your Home Screen and Lock Screen. ■ No account, no server No sign-up. We never ask your name or your age. Everything stays on this device and is never sent over the network.
