Ziproll opens archives on the Mac the way they should have always opened: drag one in, and it is out. SECURITY SCANNING ON EVERY ARCHIVE Before a single byte is written, Ziproll checks the manifest for the attacks that actually target extractors: path traversal (Zip Slip), absolute paths, symlink escapes and decompression bombs. It also flags executables, macro-enabled documents and hidden entries — and shows you what it found instead of silently deciding for you. GARBLED FILENAMES, FIXED Archives made on Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Russian or Western-European Windows machines store filenames in a codepage they never recorded. Ziproll scores the candidates and picks the right one automatically. No modal prompt asking you to guess an encoding — and if confidence is low, the choice is one quiet, reversible control away. MULTI-PART SETS THAT JUST OPEN Split sets are where extractors fail with "unexpected end of archive." Ziproll knows all four naming schemes — .part1.rar, the old .rar/.r00 order, 7-Zip's .001, and split ZIPs where the .zip comes last — and finds every volume from whichever part you happened to open. BUILT FOR macOS A native SwiftUI app with light and dark modes and four accent themes. Extract next to the archive, to Downloads, to the Desktop, to a folder you choose, or ask every time. Smart enclosing folders so nothing ever explodes across your Desktop. Preserve permissions and dates, skip Mac metadata, reveal in Finder when done.
