About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Keep your phone in your bag. SelfMate helps you record your gym sessions at your wrist, then review your progress on iPhone or iPad. LOG ON APPLE WATCH • Start and finish gym sessions without your phone nearby • Adjust weight and repetitions with the Digital Crown • Save a set, undo a mistake and use a rest timer • Record treadmill time, distance, speed and incline • Reopen the app and continue from your saved session • Synchronize your journal with your paired iPhone when it reconnects SEE YOUR PROGRESS • Review completed sessions and every saved set • See training consistency and personal records • Compare your latest sets with previous workouts at each gym • Choose kilograms/kilometres or pounds/miles • Create routines, favorite exercises and custom movements • Browse 20 illustrated exercise guides with setup and movement instructions YOUR JOURNAL, UNDER YOUR CONTROL No account, ads, analytics, subscriptions or in-app purchases. Your journal is stored on your devices. Export a JSON backup, CSV report or readable text when you choose. Import a JSON backup to merge your saved history. SelfMate does not automatically upload workout history to iCloud. Export a backup before uninstalling or changing devices. OPTIONAL APPLE HEALTH On Apple Watch, you can allow heart-rate and active-energy access during a workout and save that session to Apple Health. Manual set logging works without Health permission. Health sensor values are not included in SelfMate journals or exports. The Watch app can log independently; paired-device synchronization requires SelfMate on your paired iPhone. iPad supports local logging and reports but does not pair directly with Apple Watch. SelfMate is a workout journal, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
