DM Record & Transcribe captures both sides of a call on your Mac — your microphone and the system audio — into one clean stereo recording, then turns it into a transcript without your audio ever leaving the machine. Press Record before a phone call, video meeting, or interview. Your voice lands on one channel and the other side on the second, so playback and transcripts stay untangled. FREE: • Record mic + system audio together — works with any app that plays through your Mac • Live level meters and waveform • On-device transcription with two model sizes (powered by Whisper) • Click a transcript line to jump playback; edit text in place • Import existing audio files for transcription • Export recordings and copy transcripts PRO — one-time purchase, not a subscription: • Speaker-labeled transcripts: calls become a readable You / Them script • Live transcription: watch the text appear while you're still recording • Cloud engine with diarization (bring your own Deepgram key) for multi-speaker meetings PRIVATE BY DESIGN: No account, no analytics, Data Not Collected. Transcription runs locally; the optional cloud engine runs only if you add your own key. A consent reminder appears before recording so you stay on the right side of call-recording laws.
