About this app
The developer's US App Store description, in full.
Sound Meter turns your phone into a sound level meter: it measures noise in decibels, keeps the readings, and turns them into a document. ■ Measurement · 1-min Leq · Lmax · Min/Avg/Max (dB) · Live waveform · Microphone calibration — Offset against a reference meter · Sample rate — Readings per second ■ History · Leq (1 min) · vs baseline · Samples · View raw data · Export CSV · Save audio while measuring — Keep an m4a for playback and evidence ■ Noise Report · Baseline comparison · Korean apartment baseline (reference) / WHO reference lines / No baseline · Daytime / Night ■ Noise measurement record report · A PDF with timestamps, statistics and the baseline comparison · These readings come from a smartphone microphone and do not replace a certified sound level meter. The calibration offset applied to each session is listed alongside it. This report provides no legal assessment; an official determination is only possible through measurement under the applicable statutory method. Recordings stay on this device and are never uploaded.
