About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Turn your videos into a virtual webcam for Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. Prepare your image, check the preview, and select Virtual Camera Studio as your meeting camera. ONE CAMERA, TWO WAYS TO USE IT • Video: loop a prerecorded file for demonstrations, presentations and prepared content. • Presence: record two short takes of yourself, listening and talking. The app switches between them when it detects speech through your microphone. It plays your recorded clips; it does not synchronize lips to each word. CONTROL YOUR IMAGE • Preview the camera output. • Choose output resolution up to 1080p and adjust the frame rate. • Adjust framing, mirroring, rotation, brightness, contrast, saturation and filters. • Apply optional background blur to presence clips and videos. • Use menu-bar controls and the floating presence panel. • Switch between English and Spanish. GET STARTED IN THREE STEPS 1. Install and approve the camera extension when macOS asks. 2. Add a video or create a presence, then start the virtual camera. 3. Choose “Virtual Camera Studio” in your meeting app’s camera settings. The virtual camera sends video only. Select your usual microphone in the meeting to be heard. Muting presence does not mute your audio in Zoom, Teams or Google Meet. FREE AND PRO The free version includes one video, presence creation, background blur and up to 15 minutes of camera time per day, with a prerecorded-content watermark. Pro is a one-time in-app purchase: use playlists with multiple videos, remove the daily time limit and choose to remove the watermark. No subscription. PROCESSED LOCALLY Your videos are processed on your Mac. Presence analyzes microphone input to detect speech activity; it does not record, store or transmit that audio. No personal data is collected. Requires macOS 13 or later and approval of the camera extension.
