Plan the ride, not just the destination. RideCast shows the weather you are expected to meet throughout a cycling or motorbike journey. Choose your route, departure time and riding pace. RideCast estimates when you will reach each part of the journey, then matches the forecast to your expected location. Instead of checking the weather at only your start or destination, you can see where rain may begin, where winds become stronger and what conditions are expected at each stop. PLAN ON IPAD Use the spacious iPad map to build and explore your journey. • Choose a start, destination and departure time • Add up to ten intermediate stops • Compare alternative departure times • View weather changes directly along the route • Import GPX routes • Reorder stops and adjust break durations • Explore the journey as a weather and stop timeline WEATHER FOR THE ROAD AHEAD RideCast turns forecast data into information that matters during a ride. • Rain probability and expected precipitation • Temperature and feels-like temperature • Wind speed and gusts • Headwind, tailwind and crosswind guidance • Visibility changes • Current conditions and upcoming weather • Official weather warnings where available FIND PLACES WORTH STOPPING FOR A recreational ride is about more than getting from A to B. Search along your route for: • Cafés and food • Viewpoints and landmarks • Parks and attractions • Fuel and charging • Public toilets • Bicycle and motorcycle services • Accommodation and campsites See how a stop affects your route, arrival time and the weather you are likely to encounter afterward. CHOOSE A BETTER DEPARTURE Compare nearby departure times to see whether leaving earlier or later may help you avoid rain, reduce difficult winds or reach a scenic stop during clearer weather. RideCast explains why an alternative time may be better, while keeping you in control of the final decision. CHECK YOUR RIDE ON IPHONE Plan comfortably on iPad, then open the same journey on iPhone through your private iCloud account. During an active ride, RideCast can show: • Your progress along the route • The next planned stop • The next significant weather change • Time and distance to the conditions ahead • Whether you are running ahead or behind • Updated weather based on your actual progress PRIVATE BY DESIGN RideCast does not require a separate account. Your journeys are stored on your devices and, when enabled, in your private iCloud account so they can stay available across iPhone and iPad. IMPORTANT Weather forecasts and journey times are estimates and can change. Always check official warnings and current road conditions before travelling.
