About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Turn your old film negatives into real photos. Got a box of 35mm negatives in a drawer? Negative Scanner turns them into positive pictures using just your phone. Photograph a negative against any light — a window, a lamp, or a lightbox — and the app converts it into the photo it was always meant to be. Color negatives carry an orange film-base mask; Negative Scanner removes it and inverts the image, giving you a great starting point. Because color varies from film to film, easy exposure and white-balance sliders let you nudge skin tones and colors until they look right. Black-and-white negatives invert cleanly too. No ads. No subscription. Pay once and scan forever. • PHOTOGRAPH, DON'T BUY HARDWARE — no scanner, no dock, no adapter. Your phone and any light source are all you need. • COLOR & BLACK-AND-WHITE — orange-mask removal for color film, clean inversion for B&W. • A GREAT STARTING POINT, THEN FINE-TUNE — manual exposure and white-balance let you dial in the look. Reset anytime. • LIVE PREVIEW — see the positive update as you adjust, before you save. • FULL RESOLUTION — save the finished picture to Photos, or share it to Files and beyond. No watermark. • 100% ON DEVICE — your negatives and photos never leave your iPhone. No account, no cloud, no uploads. • NO ADS, NO SUBSCRIPTION — negative-scanning apps love a weekly fee. This one is a single purchase. Pay once, keep it forever. Perfect for digitizing family archives, 35mm rolls, and vintage analog shots you thought were gone for good. Note: color-negative conversion depends on the film stock and your light source. Think of the automatic result as a strong first pass — the built-in exposure and white-balance controls make it easy to finish the look yourself. $4.99 one-time unlocks unlimited scans. No subscription, no ads, no catch.
