Still juggling a weather app, a wind app and a tide table before every trip? Fishing Weather puts everything an angler actually checks onto a single screen — the sky, the wind, the swell and the tide, all lined up on the same timeline. EVERYTHING ON ONE SCREEN • Hourly weather icons, temperature and rainfall • Wind speed and direction, shown as arrows • Wave height, plus swell height, direction and period • Tide curve with high and low water times • Sunrise, sunset, and the dawn and dusk feeding windows shaded on the chart • UV index and thunderstorm risk (hidden by default, switch them on in the app) Every row shares the same time axis, so you can see at a glance whether high water lands before the wind gets up. TIDE CALENDAR Spring tides, neaps and everything in between, laid out month by month with the moon's age and phase. Pick the day first, then plan around it. FROM LAST WEEK TO 16 DAYS AHEAD Swipe the date chips to move through time. Look back a few days to judge water colour and temperature, or look two weeks ahead to plan a longer trip. (Tide and wave data run to roughly 8 days ahead.) YOUR SPOTS, YOUR SECRETS Save the marks that matter: the local breakwater, the surf, the estuary, the lake. Add them straight from the map, find them by place name, or paste a link you saved in Google Maps and the spot drops in for you. Then build your own seabed map on satellite imagery — rocks, sunken timber, drop-offs. Structure marks never leave your phone. No account, no cloud, nobody else sees them. A CATCH LOG THAT FILLS ITSELF IN Log a fish and the app stores the weather, wind, wave and tide from that exact moment. After a season you stop guessing and start seeing the pattern: which tide, which hour, which sky. Search and analyse it all by species, tide, weather, wind or size. HOME SCREEN WIDGETS See the tide, wind and weather for your home spot right on the Home Screen, without opening the app. With Pro or Max, choose which spot each widget shows. WORKS OFFLINE Once loaded, forecasts stay on the device, so you can still check them out on the rocks or offshore with no signal. The app always shows when the data was fetched. FISHING IN JAPAN? THERE'S MORE A nationwide map of inland fishery co-operatives with permit fees and contacts (490+ co-ops), basin rainfall alerts with links to official river-level pages, and one-tap access to the JMA rain radar. FISHING ABROAD A plain-language guide to how recreational fishing licences work country by country and state by state, with links to the official sites. The app itself speaks 22 languages. FREE, WITH NO ADS The forecast side is free and there are no adverts, ever. If you want deeper logging and a longer window of data, Pro and Max are one-time purchases, with no subscription.
