About this app
The developer's US App Store description, in full.
Chore Quest is a chore chart and family organizer app for iPhone and iPad. It turns household chores into quests for kids, with XP, levels and rewards, and gives the whole family a shared calendar, lists, recipes, messages and contacts. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Turn chores into quests with an XP reward, category and frequency. Kids complete them and, by default, you approve them • Ask for a short proof note, or send a chore back with a comment if it needs doing again • Run a rewards shop: you choose the rewards and their price in XP; kids redeem them and you approve • Follow progress with XP, levels, daily streaks, badges, family challenges and a scoreboard • Get chore ideas by age for each kid • Share a family calendar: a color per member, all-day or timed events, repeats and reminders • Keep shared or private lists for groceries, to-dos, wishes and packing, and assign items to someone • Save recipes with ingredients, steps and servings • Message the whole family or just some members • Keep contacts at hand, such as the babysitter, grandparents or pediatrician INCLUDED WITH CHORE QUEST PRO • Allowance, weekly or monthly, with savings goals, weekly interest and matched contributions. The balance is virtual; adults mark any cash or transfer payout as paid • A pet that grows with every approved chore, with accessories bought with XP • Meal planner: plan the week and send every ingredient to the shopping list in one tap • Household budget: log spending by category with a monthly cap for each WHO IT IS FOR Parents and caregivers who want kids to help at home and one shared place to organize the household. Adults create and approve; each kid gets a profile with a 4-digit PIN. Works on iPhone and iPad with iOS 16 or later, in English and Spanish. It needs an internet connection to sync your household's data. HOW IT WORKS 1. Add your kids and create chores, or pick chore ideas for their age. 2. Kids complete chores and earn XP; you approve them. 3. Kids spend their XP in the rewards shop you set up. QUESTIONS PARENTS ASK Do kids need an email or an account? No. A kid profile holds a name or nickname, an age, an emoji avatar and a PIN. The app does not ask for a kid's email, phone number or location. What ages is it for? Kid profiles accept ages 3 to 17, and the chore ideas follow the age you set. Can I try it without signing up? Yes. Start without an account and save your progress later with an email, Google or Apple. Can two adults use the same family? Yes. An adult invites another adult with a code, and kids join with the family code or a QR code. Everything syncs across devices. Does it handle real money? The app never moves money. Allowance is a balance tracked in the app; it does not connect to bank accounts or cards, and adults mark any cash or transfer payout as paid. What is included without a subscription? One kid, 10 active chores, 5 rewards, and the shared calendar, lists, recipes, messages and contacts. Chore Quest Pro removes the limits and adds allowance, the pet, the meal planner and the household budget. PRIVACY AND PLANS Chore Quest does not sell your data, build advertising profiles or track you across apps, and it shows no ads on iPhone or iPad. You can delete your account from Settings (Delete account). Chore Quest Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly; the price for your country appears on the purchase screen. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. Manage it or turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
