About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Envault keeps your private things private, and it does it offline. Photos, notes, passwords, documents, contacts and cards live in one place on your phone, encrypted and behind a PIN. There is no account to create, no cloud to sign into, and no server anywhere holding anything of yours. Turn on Airplane Mode and Envault works exactly the same. Nothing syncs, so a sync can never lose your library. WHAT YOU CAN KEEP Photos and videos, taken with the built in camera or brought in from your gallery. Notes with formatting, checklists and images. Passwords, with a generator for strong new ones. Documents of any kind, sorted into folders. Contacts you would rather not have in your phone book. Cards, bank details, IDs and Wi-Fi codes in Wallet. A CAMERA THAT SAVES STRAIGHT IN Take a photo or record a video inside Envault and it goes into the vault directly. It never lands in your camera roll, so there is nothing to remember to delete afterwards. BUILT FOR REAL SITUATIONS Envault locks itself the moment you leave, and hides what is on screen when you switch apps. Face ID or Touch ID works as a second step after your PIN, never instead of it. A second vault with its own PIN means what you open is not everything you have. Facedown Exit closes the app when you turn the phone over. Too many wrong PIN attempts slow the next try down, and you can turn on erasing everything instead. A correct PIN always works once the wait is over. ONE PAYMENT, NOT A MONTHLY BILL Envault is free to use, with one vault and room in every section. Envault Pro is one purchase, yours forever, with no subscription. It adds Face ID protection, the second vault, auto erase, Facedown Exit, folders and albums, every app theme, and as much room as your phone has. A vault should not lock you out of your own photos because you stopped paying, so Envault only asks once. HONEST ABOUT THE HARD PART There is no password recovery, no backup email, no support reset. If you forget your PIN, your data is gone. That is not an oversight. A way back in for you is a way in for anyone who takes your phone, and we would rather not have one. For the same reason, your things live on your phone and nowhere else. Keep your own copy of anything you could not bear to lose. Your information stays on your device unless you choose to share it. Envault never collects or receives your private information.
