About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Big Feelings gives non-verbal children a voice for their emotions. Your child taps a big, friendly picture card, Happy, Sad, Angry, Scared, and thirteen more, and the app speaks it aloud for them: "I feel happy!" No reading, no menus, no fiddly settings. Just one tap between a big feeling and being understood. MADE FOR LITTLE COMMUNICATORS • 17 feelings with warm, friendly artwork: Happy, Sad, Angry, Scared, Tired, Worried, Frustrated, Silly, Surprised, Shy, Proud, Lonely, Anxious, Embarrassed, Shocked, Curious and Unsafe • One tap speaks the feeling out loud, it works even when the mute switch is on, because your child's voice should always be heard • "a little" and "A LOT!" buttons let kids say how big the feeling is • Big targets, gentle colors, playful animations and soft haptics • No reading required, pictures do the talking A QUIET CORNER FOR GROWN-UPS Press and hold the grown-ups button to open a private history: every feeling your child expressed, grouped day by day, with how strongly they felt it. Spot patterns, start conversations, or share what you learn with teachers and therapists. Kids can't stumble into it, it only opens with a long press. PAY ONCE. YOURS FOR LIFE. Big Feelings is a single one-time purchase. • No subscriptions • No in-app purchases • No ads — ever • No accounts, no sign-ups SAFE AND PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything stays on your device. Big Feelings works completely offline, collects no data, and contains nothing for little fingers to accidentally buy, tap into, or wander off to. The only link in the whole app, our privacy policy (https://www.privacys.app/privacy/big-feelings) sits safely behind the grown-ups long press. Big Feelings was made for children who don't communicate with words yet , including autistic kids, late talkers and kids exploring AAC, and for every toddler still learning what feelings are called. How do you feel today?
