About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Your photos. Truly private. Arca is a private vault for photos and videos with no server, no account, and no tracking. Everything is encrypted on your device with AES-256 — nothing ever leaves your phone, and nobody (including us) can see your photos. Ever. WHY ARCA IS DIFFERENT Most "photo vault" apps advertise military-grade encryption while quietly storing your photos unprotected. Arca was built the opposite way: • Real AES-256 encryption — every photo, video, and thumbnail is individually encrypted, with keys protected by the Secure Enclave • Zero knowledge — no server, no account, no cloud. There is nothing to hack and nothing to leak • Your data is never trapped — export your original photos losslessly anytime, free • Encrypted backup — save a single encrypted backup file to Files or iCloud Drive that only your PIN can open • No lock-out dark patterns — your imported photos always stay accessible PROTECT WHAT MATTERS • Hide private photos and videos behind a 6-digit PIN and Face ID • Private camera shoots straight into the vault, bypassing your camera roll • Albums, favorites, and a fast, beautiful gallery • ID cards, documents, licenses — keep them off your camera roll SERIOUS SECURITY FEATURES • Decoy vault — a second PIN opens a separate, innocent vault • Break-in report — see when someone tried (and failed) to get in, with photo evidence • Disguised app icon — hide Arca behind a Calculator, Clock, Calendar, or Photos icon • Auto-lock and privacy shield in the app switcher • Strip location data when sharing ARCA PREMIUM Unlimited items, decoy vault, break-in report, encrypted backup, and disguised icons. Monthly, annual, or pay-once lifetime. Your photos are never held hostage — exports stay free forever. Arca means strongbox. Your photos deserve one. ——— Premium is an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or annual) with a one-time lifetime option. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.
