About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

KeyStrike is a native macOS typing game that doubles as a Mac literacy guide. Five distinct game modes train your fingers; twenty-two short interactive tutorials teach the basics of using your computer — right-click, drag, copy/paste, save, find, and more. GAME MODES • Classic Speed Test — type a passage, beat your WPM • Falling Words — type before they hit the bottom • Word Race — outpace a ghost of your previous best • Whack-a-Word — type the highlighted word before it vanishes • Code Snippets — real Swift, JavaScript, and Python for typing programmers TWENTY-TWO INTERACTIVE TUTORIALS A bite-sized lesson for every basic Mac skill — each one is a tiny interactive sandbox, not a video or a wall of text: • Mouse & trackpad — right-click, double-click, drag, scroll, hover • Window management — move, resize, minimize, close, full screen • Files & folders — new folder, rename, delete • Keyboard — modifier keys, typing, backspace, Tab, arrow keys, home row • Shortcuts — select, copy/paste, undo, save, find THREE DIFFICULTY LEVELS Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced — each tunes the word list, pace, and time pressure. FOUR THEMES Hybrid (default), Minimal, Cartoony, and Retro Arcade — pick one in Settings. PRIVACY-FIRST No accounts. No ads. No network. No analytics. Your stats live on your Mac and nowhere else. ACCESSIBILITY High-contrast typography. Optional dyslexia-friendly font. Per-mode achievements and WPM tracking. Made for kids learning their first keyboard, parents helping them, students brushing up, and anyone who's ever wanted to chase 100 WPM.
