About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Mixerbar gives people a focused place to manage everyday Mac audio. Switch inputs and outputs, prepare common sound profiles, check microphone levels, and keep a quick control surface close while working, recording, presenting, streaming, or joining calls. Version 2.2 adds Audio Check, a readiness report for real work. It reviews your current output, input, mute state, volume, stereo balance, sample rate, meter status, clipping risk, active schedules, saved profiles, priority switching, and loudness target. The result is a clear score, action list, ready-signal list, and copyable Markdown report you can keep with recording notes or pre-call checks. Pro tools include: - Menu-bar audio controls for fast input and output switching - Output volume, input gain, mute, and stereo balance checks - Saved profiles for repeated audio setups - Live microphone meter with peak and clipping context - Audio Check readiness score and action list - Copyable Markdown setup report - Volume schedules for quiet hours and recurring focus blocks - Output device priority for preferred speakers, headphones, DACs, and displays - Tone tools and quick recording helpers for local setup checks Mixerbar stays App Store-safe and privacy-first. Device switching and volume control use public CoreAudio APIs, microphone access starts only when you run the meter or start a quick recording, and all audio work happens locally on your Mac.
