GreenPayback helps you understand whether a green home upgrade is likely to pay for itself. Plan solar panels, battery storage and home energy upgrades with clear payback estimates, lifetime savings, carbon impact and confidence scoring. Instead of guessing whether an upgrade is worth it, GreenPayback lets you model the numbers in a calm, practical way. Enter your assumptions, choose your country or region, adjust energy prices, tariffs, subsidies and system costs, then see an estimated payback picture over time. GreenPayback is built for homeowners, renters, landlords and anyone comparing the long-term value of cleaner energy choices. Features include: • Solar and battery payback estimates • 30-year planning horizon • Lifetime savings estimates • NPV and IRR-style return modelling • Electricity, gas and inflation escalation assumptions • Country-aware tariffs, subsidies and carbon factors • Supported country packs for the Netherlands, UK, Germany, France, Belgium, US and Australia • Manual mode for other regions • Confidence scoring so you can see how reliable each estimate is • CO₂e impact estimates • Simple inputs for costs, usage, tariffs and export rates • iPhone and iPad support • Optional approximate location to suggest the right country pack • Manual country selection if you prefer not to use location GreenPayback is not a sales tool. It is a planning calculator designed to help you think clearly before making a major home energy decision. Use it to compare scenarios such as: • Solar only • Solar with battery storage • Different battery sizes • Different electricity tariffs • Export rates and grid sell-back assumptions • Subsidy and incentive impacts • Higher or lower future energy prices • Long-term carbon reduction Calculations are estimates based on the information you enter and the assumptions available in the app. Results are provided for planning and educational purposes only and should not be treated as financial, investment, tax, legal or installation advice. GreenPayback gives you a clearer starting point before speaking to installers, advisors or energy providers. Plan smarter. Compare clearly. Understand the payback.
