Choose for the trade-off you want: smallest with XZ, fastest with LZ4, most compatible with ZIP. Recompress an existing archive into a different format in one step. HIGHLIGHTS See before you extract: the whole tree, with each entry's size, compression ratio bar, and CRC-32 checksum, plus the largest files and a breakdown by type.
