About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Hook Caption is a focused short-video caption utility for creators who want a faster path from rough clip to readable, ready-to-post export. Import a video, choose or write a strong opening hook, add timed caption cards, preview common short-video safe zones, check caption timing quality, export a captioned video, and share an SRT subtitle file when you need one. Version 2.2 adds Word Sync Studio: per-word timing, karaoke display modes (reveal, fill, pop, box), auto-fit, nudge, and lock so each word hits on the beat. Timing Audit still checks first-caption speed, hook length, reading speed, overlaps, gaps, and coverage before export. What Hook Caption includes: - Word Sync Studio with per-word timing, auto-fit, nudge, lock, and karaoke export modes - Video import from the Photos picker - On-device speech transcription where supported by iOS - Bold opening hook text - Hook Bank with local starter packs across creator categories - Saved hooks for reusable openers - Timed caption cards with split, merge, nudge, and shift-all controls - Caption presets, keyword emphasis, aspect-ratio options, and optional progress bar - Safe-zone previews for common short-video layouts - Timing Audit for first-caption speed, hook length, reading speed, overlaps, gaps, and coverage - Creator Check for hook readiness, caption readability, safe-zone selection, and publish-pack readiness - Publish Pack for post caption and hashtags - Captioned video export - Standards-compliant SRT subtitle export - Auto-saved local project state Hook Caption is intentionally not a social network, template marketplace, or cloud editing account. It is built for creators, students, small businesses, coaches, and anyone posting short videos who wants readable captions and a cleaner export workflow. Your videos and caption text stay on device unless you choose to export, save, or share them. Hook Caption does not include ads, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or account sign-in.
