The Mac app is the source of truth for setup, CSV imports, manual balances, holdings, reconciliation, exports, and privacy settings. The iPhone app is a fast companion dashboard for checking net worth, accounts, investments, allocation, history, goals, and data freshness. LedgerView is not a bank aggregator and does not require linking financial accounts. It is designed for manual and CSV-first workflows, explicit data provenance, visible freshness, and exportability.
