Red Crow transforms YouTube in Safari. Hide Shorts completely, skip sponsors, control playback speed, and reshape the whole page with more than 150 settings. Works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. HOW IT WORKS Install the extension, open any video, and everything works automatically with sensible defaults. Open the settings panel right on the page to customize every detail, or use quick presets to apply popular configurations in one click. KEY FEATURES - Play, pause, and skip tracks in YouTube Music using compatible headphones in Safari on Mac. - Hide Shorts, everywhere: the sidebar link, the Shorts tab, home feed shelves, and Shorts that turn up in search results. Not collapsed, gone. - Or convert them: open any Short in the normal video player instead, with a real progress bar and your usual speed controls. - Custom playback speed: set any default speed from 0.25x to 16x, with per-channel memory. - Quality control: force a default quality and a separate fullscreen quality. - SponsorBlock: automatically skip sponsors, intros, outros, and other non-content segments. - DeArrow: replace clickbait titles and thumbnails with community-sourced alternatives. - Return of dislikes: restore dislike counts and the like/dislike ratio bar. - Theater and cinema mode: auto-enter theater mode, dim the page background, or go fully cinematic. - Hide other distractions: comments, related videos, mixes, end cards, upcoming videos, premieres, and more. - Block channels and keywords: filter out any creator or title you never want to see, everywhere they appear. - Dim or hide videos you have already watched. - Duration filter: hide videos shorter or longer than your preferred range. - Player toolbar: screenshot, loop, A-B loop, timestamp bookmarks, picture-in-picture, pop-out player, reverse and shuffle playlists. - Video filters: adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, blur, hue, and more in real time. - Audio-only mode: keep listening without the video. - Playlist duration: see the total and remaining time for any playlist. - Chapter navigation: a slide-out panel showing all chapters for quick seeking. - Auto-translate titles into your language, and open transcripts automatically. - Comment search: find any comment on a video. - Chat emotes: 7TV, BetterTTV, and FrankerFaceZ emotes in live chat. - Codec control: block VP9, AV1, or high frame rate to save battery and CPU. - Channel profiles: save per-channel settings for speed, quality, volume, and cinema mode. - Custom themes: Nord, Solarized Dark, Catppuccin Mocha, or force the site's own light or dark theme. - Mini-player: a floating mini-player that follows you as you scroll down the page. - Scroll volume: change volume by scrolling over the player. - Usage timer: get reminded to take a break after a configurable watch time. - Keyboard shortcuts: customizable shortcuts for loop, screenshot, PiP, cinema, and more. - Channel RSS: subscribe to any channel in your own feed reader. - Presets: one-click configurations for Podcast, Presentation, Music, Minimal, and Focus modes. - Custom CSS: inject your own styles for complete visual control. SETTINGS AND CUSTOMIZATION The full settings panel opens right on the page, organized into clear sections with a search bar and setting descriptions. Import, export, or reset your configuration at any time. PRIVACY FIRST Red Crow does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It runs entirely on your device with no analytics, no tracking, and no accounts required. Community lookups for SponsorBlock never reveal which video you are watching.
