The Observing Ego for Mac is the desktop companion to the iOS mood tracker built by a therapist. Review your moods, see your year at a glance, and explore the patterns between how you feel and how you live, all on a larger screen. This is a read-only dashboard. To log moods, write journal entries, take screening assessments, or manage medications, use The Observing Ego on iPhone or iPad. Your data syncs automatically through your own iCloud account. WHAT YOU CAN DO ON MAC Overview Dashboard Your mood at a glance. Recent entries, current trends, and quick links to deeper views. Mood History Browse every mood entry chronologically. Filter by emotion, date range, or context. See the full picture of your emotional life. Assessments Review your completed PHQ-9, GAD-7, WHO-5, C-SSRS, ASQ, and STIPO-R results in one place. Track changes over time. These are screening tools for self-monitoring, not diagnoses. Correlations Discover how your mood connects with sleep, exercise, heart rate, HRV, medications, and habits. All correlations are computed on-device. Year in Pixels Your full year as a single color-coded grid. Spot seasonal patterns, recovery arcs, and meaningful changes at a glance. PRIVACY BY DESIGN No accounts. No servers. No ads. No analytics. Your data syncs through your own iCloud and stays on your devices. We cannot see your entries, your moods, or your reports. REQUIRES THE iOS APP This Mac app reads data captured by The Observing Ego on iPhone or iPad. If you do not have the iOS app installed and signed into the same Apple ID, the Mac app will be empty. If you subscribe to Premium on iPhone or iPad, your subscription unlocks deeper iOS features (the Show Your Doc clinical formulation report, longitudinal predictions).
