About this app
The developer's US App Store description, in full.
Y News Eraser is a Safari extension designed to help users make supported news pages easier to read by hiding articles that contain registered keywords and certain predefined page areas. After adding keywords in the app, the Safari extension checks supported news pages on the user’s device and hides matching article elements from view. The app does not change article content, rank news, judge accuracy, or provide medical, safety, political, or financial advice. It is simply a display-control tool for users who want to reduce unwanted visual exposure while browsing news in Safari. No login is required. Saved keywords are managed on the device. The app does not send keyword data to an external server, does not use translation, speech recognition, cloud APIs, or remote analysis. To use the app, install it, enable the Safari extension in Safari settings, allow it to run on the supported website, and register the keywords you want to hide. When you open a supported news page in Safari, matching article elements and configured page areas are hidden by the extension. This app is intended for users who want a simpler, more comfortable news browsing experience while keeping control of the settings on their own device.
