About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Simple Angelus is a faithful digital companion for the traditional Catholic devotion of the Angelus. It rings the bell at the three canonical hours — morning, noon, and evening — and presents the prayers of the Church simply and beautifully. The app follows the pre-1955 traditional Roman calendar. Simple Angelus asks nothing of you except that you pause and pray. It contains no advertisements, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no donation prompts, and no accounts. It collects no data. It is offered freely as a service to the Church. "The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary, and she conceived of the Holy Ghost…"
