ghleopeawr turns your iPhone into a portable field toolkit for exploring the signals, devices and services around you. Scan Bluetooth devices, inspect NFC tags, discover devices on your local network, monitor sensors, save interesting devices and receive notifications when watched devices are detected again. Everything is designed around the capabilities Apple exposes on iPhone, with clear boundaries around what the phone can and cannot observe. WATCH DEVICES Choose device families you care about and let ghleopeawr watch for them while scanning. Built-in presets recognise many common Bluetooth device families using service UUIDs, manufacturer identifiers, advertised names and payload patterns. Watch Mode supports: • Device-family notifications • Minimum signal-strength thresholds • Return/reappearance alerts • Alert cooldowns • Background Bluetooth operation where supported by iOS • Live Activity status You can also save an individual BLE device and enable Notify when seen again. ghleopeawr waits for that saved device to disappear and then alerts you when the same iPhone-visible Bluetooth identity returns. BLUETOOTH FIELDWATCH Explore nearby Bluetooth Low Energy activity with: • Live device discovery • RSSI and signal history • Hunt mode • Advertisement inspection • Manufacturer and service data • GATT service and characteristic inspection • Beacon recognition • Saved Sits and device observations • Pause/resume capture so live lists stay frozen while you inspect them ghleopeawr includes recognition presets for a wide range of devices and protocols including smart glasses, trackers, wearables, cameras, vehicles, mesh radios, environmental sensors, Matter devices, Bluetooth Mesh, firmware-update services and embedded development hardware. NFC LAB Read and write supported NDEF tags and inspect NFC technologies exposed by Core NFC. Depending on the tag, ghleopeawr can show: • NDEF records and capacity • Tag technology • Identifier / UID where available • ISO 7816 information • ISO 15693 information • MIFARE family information NETWORK LAB Explore the network your iPhone is connected to. • Current Wi-Fi and interface information • Bonjour / mDNS service discovery • UPnP / SSDP support where available • WS-Discovery support where available • Local service and device inspection • User-approved joining of known Wi-Fi networks • Saved network captures ghleopeawr does not claim to provide unrestricted Wi-Fi monitor mode or generic nearby access-point scanning where iOS does not expose those capabilities. MATTER, THREAD & EMBEDDED DEVICES Recognise: • Matter commissioning advertisements • Matter and Thread network services • Bluetooth Mesh Provisioning and Proxy services • MCUmgr / SMP-capable embedded devices • Nordic DFU services SENSOR LAB Inspect live iPhone sensor data including: • Accelerometer • Gyroscope • Magnetometer • Barometer • Relative altitude CAPTURE & EXPORT Freeze the live environment at any time with the global Pause control, save observations, and build a local record of what was present. Saved Sits can include detected radios, strongest-hear positions and the iPhone’s recorded path, with export options including JSON, CSV, GPX and KML. PRIVACY FIRST ghleopeawr is designed as an on-device toolkit. • No account required • No advertising SDK • No tracking • Captures are stored locally • Permissions are requested only for features that require them Bluetooth, NFC, Local Network, Location, Motion and notification access remain controlled by iOS. IMPORTANT Radio and device classifications are based on observable identifiers and advertised data. A match indicates that an observation fits a known signature; it is not proof of device ownership, identity, intent or activity. Signal strength is not a measurement of exact distance or direction. ghleopeawr uses Apple-supported APIs and does not provide card emulation, Wi-Fi monitor mode, arbitrary packet interception or hardware capabilities.
