Rove Maps — App Store rankings

About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Rove Maps is a premium navigation app built for drivers who want a clean, fast, focused experience. Search any place, compare routes with live traffic, and navigate with clear voice guidance — no clutter, no ads, no account. A HOME SCREEN THAT WORKS Favorites as one-tap circles — Home, Work, your parked car, and the places you save. Recents as swipeable cards. Find Nearby puts gas, coffee, food, parking, EV charging, groceries and hospitals a tap away. Signature Sights shows you the landmarks worth knowing about wherever you are. RICH PLACE PAGES Tap any place for a full card: live drive time, Call, Website, and Parking. Hours with open/closed status, Good to Know details like payment options and drive-thru, photos, ratings, and everything else at that address. Landmarks get the full story, pulled from the world's knowledge, so Rove doesn't just tell you a place exists — it tells you why it matters. COMPARE ROUTES BEFORE YOU GO See route options as separate cards with drive time, distance and live traffic. Schedule a departure and Rove estimates traffic for when you'll actually leave. Avoid tolls, highways, or ferries with a tap. NAVIGATION THAT FEELS RIGHT Powered by the Rove Routing API. A puck that rides the route at up to 120 Hz, glides through turns, and recalculates within seconds when you miss an exit. A clean top banner with one clear distance and the next maneuver. Spoken guidance in your choice of voice and speaking rate — preview any voice before you pick it. Rove lowers your music while it speaks and brings it back when it's done. PARKING, HANDLED Tap P at any point in your drive to see parking near your destination — walk time, lot or garage, price when known — and route straight to it. Rove remembers where you parked and walks you back. ROVE AI Ask Rove where to go, what's open, or to add a stop — by voice or by tapping a suggested question on any place page. Natural-language destinations, mid-trip changes, and answers about the places around you. REAL-TIME TRAFFIC AND ROAD REPORTS Live traffic on every route, color-coded on the map and refreshed through your trip. Community reports for hazards, police, closures and construction. CARPLAY Full CarPlay support with browse, search, favorites, nearby categories, parking and turn-by-turn guidance on your car's display. MARS MODE Because driving should be a little fun. Flip to Mars Mode for a rover puck and a red-planet map. NO ACCOUNTS. NO ADS. NO TRACKING. Rove Maps never requires sign-up, never shows advertisements, and never stores your location history or searches on a server. Your data stays on your device. Designed for iOS 26 with Liquid Glass. Supports Dark Mode, ProMotion, Dynamic Island and Lock Screen Live Activities. To test navigation without driving: tap any place on the map or search for one, tap Directions, then Go. In the Simulator, Debug > Location > Freeway Drive exercises turn-by-turn and recalculation. Rove AI (the purple orbit button and "Ask Rove" rows) requires our backend, which is being migrated to new infrastructure at the time of this submission. When it is unreachable the app says so in one line and every other feature — search, places, routes, navigation, parking, CarPlay — works fully without it. CarPlay: the app holds the CarPlay navigation entitlement. Location is used in the background only during an active navigation session for turn-by-turn guidance.
