About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

CutMaster tells you how many pieces fit on your sheet, what cuts to make and how much of the sheet you use. It is free and complete, built for digital print shops, prepress and finishing. Type the sheet size and the piece size, or pick them from your saved sizes. The cutting layout is drawn on screen, with the total pieces and the Vertical (V) and Horizontal (H) cuts along the bottom. No more working it out on paper and starting over every time a measurement changes. The parent sheets in your inventory and the formats you sell most are saved as buttons: edit them, reorder them and pick them with one click, in inches or centimeters. Nobody retypes measurements again. Optimal mode tries the piece vertically, horizontally and both ways combined on the same sheet, then keeps whichever gives the most pieces. If you would rather call it yourself, set the layout by hand. The gap between pieces and the margin around the sheet change in seconds, and the drawing redraws on its own. Switch between inches and centimeters whenever you like and the measurements convert on their own, with nothing to retype. It comes in five languages and two themes, Dark and Light, so it reads just as well at a desk as next to the cutter. FOR THE GUILLOTINE The cutting layout prints with the job measurements and the totals, to hand to the operator along with the sheet. What you decided on screen reaches the machine unchanged. The math does not change with the material. If you have a rectangular surface and rectangular pieces, CutMaster tells you how many fit and what cuts to make: vinyl, board, acrylic or a sheet of MDF work out the same as a sheet of paper. NO ACCOUNT, NO INTERNET No account, no ads, no in-app purchases and not a single network call: it works the same on the shop floor with no signal and collects no data. It is native to macOS and optimized for Apple Silicon, so it opens instantly and calculates with no waiting. Behind CutMaster is a small team of printers who used to work these numbers out by hand, same as you. Questions or ideas? Write to apps@preartix.com.
