About this app

The developer's US App Store description, in full.

Cinecam turns your iPhone into a serious filmmaking tool. Capture pristine 4K footage with professional controls, then grade it through a powerful 5-step editor — all in one app, no subscriptions. CAPTURE • 4K capture at 30 or 60 FPS • HEVC (H.265) codec with configurable bitrate (20–500 Mbps) • All lenses support • 16:9 and 2.39:1 cinematic aspect ratio output • Tap to focus with visual AF/AE confirmation • Double-tap to lock focus and exposure • Smooth exposure adaptation — no jumpy brightness changes mid-shot • Lock white balance during recording for consistent color • Software stabilisation (optional, Cinematic mode) • Import video from your library to edit with Cinecam (30 FPS output only) EDIT — 5-STEP CINEMATIC WORKFLOW Every tool updates a live preview as you drag. Step 1 · Base Exposure, contrast, shadows, highlights. Nail the fundamentals before anything else. Step 2 · Color Balance Lift the shadows, shift the midtones, tame the highlights — independently, per channel. Step 3 · Hue Cast Add deliberate color casts to shadows, mids and highlights for that signature cinematic look. Step 4 · Texture Texture (+/−), clarity (+/−), film grain, vignette. Soften a digital look or punch up fine detail. Step 5 · Final FX Bloom, soft glow, and dust/scratch effects. Finish with that aged, film-stock quality. OUTPUT • Renders directly to your Camera Roll in full resolution • Configurable render bitrate — keep every bit of quality • Preview the final result before saving • Save the unedited original at any point in the workflow DESIGNED FOR FILMMAKERS No watermarks. No limits. No upsells. Cinecam is a clean, focused tool built for people who take their footage seriously.
